Nigerian hitmaker Majeeed has kicked off 2024 with a 2-pack single titled ‘Rollercoaster (Laba Laba)’ and ‘California‘. A double sided single to mark his first solo release since his debut EP
‘Cheers To Life.’ last year September. Both singles showcase his versatility with ‘Rollercoaster (Laba Laba)’ — the first in a two-pack release by artist Majeeed. Opening with a soft chord progression and light vocals he sings “Laba Laba” repeatedly as he takes us through the passionate an uncontrollable love and emotional pain from heartbreak and was produced by Ceecee Beatz.
On ‘California‘- He highlighted his trip to California for music recording sessions and reflected on the events that occurred while he was in Cali. On the record, Majeeed transports his listener through his melodious vocals — as he reveals sending love letters and messages with words of comfort and affirmation to his girl during his California trip on the song produced by Mystro.
Majeeed’s two-pack single release is a testament of his ability to seamlessly navigate between different musical landscapes and still showcases his inner ability as he takes his listeners into the early 90’s and exposed them to fuji and juju music resonating from West Africa; mainly Nigeria with the blend of this day Afrobeats fused with Pop and Emotion While his fans anticipate his next twopack singles is set to drop in July, and the last phase of the two-pack singles to be served in August.
