GLOxTheVillageHeadmaser EP16 – The Car

As the Village Headmaster drama series, sponsored by Glo, heads into its 16th episode, things are getting even more dramatic.

In the new episode, Mrs Abaga dreams of celebrating her upcoming birthday with a party. To get a birthday party arranged for her by her husband, the Headmaster, she calls him pet names, while offering up suggestions as to the different elements that would make up her dream party. Will her husband fall for the sweet talking and throw her the birthday party of her dreams? Will he come up with reasons not to host the party, such as work obligations?

While talks of an upcoming birthday party were going on, the Headmaster, Mr Abaga, and Teacher Ese had a planned field trip to town to purchase a car. The headmaster then drove the new car to Teacher Ese’s home, all in full view of Madam Gbeke, aka “Small Radio Oja”. It turns out Madam Gbeke may have been gathering information on the relationship status between the Headmaster and Teacher Ese, by tailing their every move. But to what end? Madam Gbeke will cause untold drama with the stories she will be sharing, but will she tell Mrs Abaga first? Or will Mrs Abaga find out from the grapevine? And how will Mrs Abaga react to the news?

From all indications, it seems as if the Prince is yet to give up his affections for Teacher Ese. As such when Lakunle tells the Prince that Teacher Ese was unhappy and under a lot of pressure, the Prince, believing this to be true, asked for suggestions on how to relieve her stress. What suggestions will Lakunle propose and what does he hope to achieve in the end? Will the Prince’s offer of help be met with appreciation or scorn from Teacher Ese?

Mazi Chinedu and his new girlfriend, Nurse Stella seem to be having yet another misunderstanding and this time it’s over a bunch of plantain which Mazi Chinedu plans on sending to his family. Is nurse Stella competing with Mazi Chinedu’s family for his affection? Or will it be too much for her to handle, thereby leading to an end to their relationship? Or will Mazi Chinedu succeed in showing equal affection for his girlfriend and wife?
