Game Changer, ZINNY X has added another notch to her title as she debuts musically with Instruction.
The dancer and Choreographer is now a total triple threat adding the title of Artiste to her lapel. Formerly 1/3 of the famous CEO dancers, the East London native affectionately known as “Zinny X” is set to transition from dancing at the back of the stage to controlling a crowd with her vibrant dance moves and addictive music. Following a successful career in the dance world, Ezinne has been tucked away in the studio, recording music and creating a project that fully encapsulates her love for dance, music and her roots. Teaming up with Gracious K (Migraine Skank) and Victizzle, she’s currently set to bring a third dimension of her character to the world with her debut single, Instruction (WOSA!)
Dancing from the early age of 11, Zinny X’s career kick started when she was hand selected to start the St Edwards C of E’s very first dance team. Spending four years with the team; growing as a choreographer and perfecting her personal style as a dancer by the time she was 18, Zinny had taken St Edward C of E school to new heights in performance by winning the local dance competition three times consecutively, becoming the first student to study Dance as a GSCE with an outstanding A* result and becoming one of most talk about dancers in University of Brunel’s African and Caribbean Society. Since then, Zinny has maintained a focus in the art of dance and choreography growing with the then new and vibrant genre known as Afrobeats and quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with as she consolidates with Instruction. She has now worked with artists such as Drake, Rihanna, Sean Paul, Wizkid, Steff London, Tiwa Savage, Riton & Kah Lo, D’banj, Moelogo, Davido, Patoranking, Alexandra Burke, Lil Kim and more.
In 2013, Zinny competed along with her crew, CEO Dancers on ITV’s Britian’s Got Talent, where they astounded audiences in their audition and semi-final performance landing them in Best Dance Act of the Series. CEO Dancers go down in history as the first all-female African Dance Act to ever reach the semi-finals in the show.
Zinny X and the CEO dance mates are the first Afropop dancers to grace international stages and headline their own shows in the UK, Europe, Africa, US and Canada. Zinny has had the honor of performing for millions on Britains Got Talent, The Brit Awards, MOBO Awards, World Music Awards, BET Experience and Afronation Portugal where she has become known for her versatile and energetic dance styles, clean and sharp execution, and her creative movement.
