Wizkid and Tiwa Savage have emerged best male and female artistes
in West Africa at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2017.
Wizkid Beats Davido To Win Best Male West African Act At AFRIMA 2017 in males category while Tiwa Savage Beats Yemi Alade For Best Female West African in the female category
The duo was announced winners of the categories on Sunday in Lagos.
Wizkid and Tiwa Savage recently collaborated on ‘Ma Lo’, a single off the latter’s ‘Sugarcane’ EP.
Emtee has won the Best Male Artiste in South Africa while Tanzanian singer Nandy emerged Best Female Artiste in East Africa.
Alikiba and MI Abaga won the Best African Collaboration category while Eddy Kenzo has been named the Best Male Artiste in East Africa.
AFRIMA 2017 plaques are being given out at the EKO Hotel & Suites.
