Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Mystro is in love. After buzzing in Africa with the
Davido-assisted ‘Issa Vibe’, he returns this time, with ‘Atarodo’.
The self-produced record is titled after a Yoruba word which translates into ‘H0t pepper’ in English. It shows the singer at his romantic best. Via flowery lyrics, backed by prodding Highlife percussion, he showers praises on his love interest.
“Atarodo’ is a record that came from a deep place,”Mystro says. “Many of people have been in love, but very few have been caught up in its happiness as much as I have. This is a record about the lady who made this possible, and a lot of people can connect with it.”
