Popular Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale has taken a dig at Nigerian artistes collectively while hitting
hard on star boy Wizkid.
Shatta Wale who is a Ghanaian dancehall artiste in an interview stated he doesn’t consider Wizkid as much as a superstar.
He made the remark during an interview on Kasapa FM where he trolled some of his Ghanaian colleagues for showing too much starstruck behavior when in the presence of Wizkid. Shatta Wale maintains he and Wizkid are on the same pedestal when the meet.
‘I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste,” he said.
‘He added that he is not bragging about his wealth or competing with anyone but it’s high time Ghanaian artistes respected themselves and stopped rating Nigerian artistes into the sky.’
