The 2017 BET Awards was star studded and filled with appearances from the biggest names in R&B, pop, hip hop and rap.
Bruno Mars, Remy Ma, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Migos and more artists hit the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Bruno Mars scooped the award for best male R&B/pop artists, while Remy Ma nicked the best female hip hop artist from her rival Nicki Minaj.
Migos picked up the gong for the best group while the best collaboration award went to Chance the Rapper for his efforts with 2 Chainz on No Problem.
In the acting categories, Taraji P. Henson was awarded with best actress and while Moonlight star Mahershala Ali won best actor, the same can’t be said for the Oscar-winning film. Hidden Figures, which was a surprise hit at the box office, starring Taraji, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer, came out victorious.
Future brought out Kendrick Lamar for Mask Off, while Chris Brown performed two tracks – Privacy and Party – in front of his ex Karrueche Tran (despite the restraining order).
Other performances include SZA and an incredible medley from Xscape.
