Marcakay,Real Name Kayode Oriyomi Odeyemi hails from Ilesha in Ilesha west local Government Area in Osun state. He was born on the 24th of JulY in the early 80’s in festac town Lagos. Had his Nursery and primary education at Tender touch Nursery and primary school festac town lagos and his secondary school at ijebu-ode grammer school ijebu-ode ogun state and later proceeded to Government Secondary School ilorin. Where he had his senior secondary school leaving certificate. Marcakay studied computer science at O.A.U IFE where he met and teamed up with bayo bankole(boy alinko) John njama and foluke daramola to run events and entertainment on campus
Marcakay has a couple of singles and has done some collaboration with known acts like. African china, Blackface, Jaywon, Rocksteady and presently working on a duet with 2face idibia, Eedris Abdulkareem,JoeL and Solidstar… He drop the club banger in 2013 tittled ILEKE which he shot a classic video for while with AAY-KAY eNt
